Configure Annotations
Drawing Properties:
- ppConfigureAnnotations
- Value: Annotation Name, FileName
- Example: sfSymbol7, c:\docs\symbolInfo.txt
Description:
This is a very powerful property.
It will search the Drawing for the named Annotation (Case-Insensitive, but NOT inclusive), creating it if it does not already exist.
The annotation is configured according to the contents of the text file that is paired with the Annotation name.
The possible text file contents are common with regard to generic Annotation properties, and unique to the specific annotation type being driven.
This is a very in-depth tool which requires in-depth instructions that are slow in coming due to their size and complexity.
If there are specific annotation properties that you need to drive, contact me for instructions.
Typical Use:
Typically, specific Annotation properties such as Dimension Arrow directions are driven.
